September 2026 Recap

Registration is Open for October’s Event!

What's been Happening at Steel Horse Crossing?

Some psion-bugs killed as many folks as the whole Corrupted Morgue. Do we have another bug problem that needs taken care of?

Those Blacktide Hunters turned raider, and when a bunch of folks went looking for them I guess their brains were too bad to save and had to be put down.

People traveled from all across the Wasteland to help clear up the Corrupted Morgue, and it turned out okay in the end. A lot of work from everyone, but the Mortis is settled… for now.

A “security company” is getting investors to help make the roads safer during trade meets. Is that a protection racket? That sounds like a protection racket, but a lot of folks invested and say he’s legit.

Miette, the full dead TV, killed 2 people Saturday night? They obviously weren’t in a good place but I didn’t realize they were actually the monster they were claiming to be. Shame they had to get put down for good.

The grave bloom plaguing our fields got taken care of by Bloom Industry’s new plants. Seems like with the Wells Society helping they are actually the good guys this time.

Missing folks keep being asked about, assumed victims of the Flesh Works. Guess the repercussions of years of infection farming doesn’t just go away overnight when you kill the guy in charge.

Please give us feedback

While we are hard at work on October's event, please take some time to give us some feedback about September's Premiere event with the button below if you attended and haven't already.

As a reminder, we are looking for specific feedback as well. Please let us know your thoughts on removing our indoor masking policy, as we are still taking input on that decision.

August 2026 Recap & September Premier Event

Registration is Open for Septembers’s Premier Event!

What's been Happening at Steel Horse Crossing?

Everybody is working night and day to prepare for this Corrupted Morgue dive they have planned.

Some folks still seem to be missing, presumed taken by the Flesh Works. Their loved ones are holding out hope, but evidence keeps turning up pointing to a more grim outcome.

Entertainers of the King & Queens Court put on a show. It wasn’t as musical as you’d expect, but the winners of the fight pit seemed to take home a decent cash prize.

Missing Black Tide Hunters haven’t turned up, but their dog tags have been found in the hands of Thrill Kills. Not too complex of a puzzle to figure out what happened.

Real freaky worms are coming out of the ground with the zed, and the names people are giving them aren’t for polite company.

Dread Surgeons might be picking up where the Flesh Works left off with the local bodily mutilation business.

While our team works on next month's premier event, please take some time to give us some feedback about August with the button below if you attended and haven't already.

As a reminder, we are looking for specific feedback on removing our indoor masking policy as well, so please give us your input if you haven’t already.

For now, we want you all to know that due to our September event taking place on Labor Day weekend, we have the site reserved for Sunday night as well for no extra cost to you. After the game ends at noon on Sunday, we will perform our normal cleanup of blood, guts, and bullets from the fictional apocalypse before having a rare opportunity for out-of-character socializing at camp through the night. Check out for those who wish to stay will be at 11am on Monday.

As more details are released, we will be updating on our website and will post about it on social media or in our Discord Server. Keep an eye out!

June 2026 Recap

Registration is Open for July’s Event!

What's been Happening at Steel Horse Crossing?

Local fisher recovered wedding ring and most of their fingers, rating the success a 4 out of 5.

People traveled from all across the Wasteland, from as far as Bravo and Mercy Pointe, to help the Ossuary Society with research into the local Mortis Amaranthine.

The Ossuary Society, along with the Helldivers, got help digging a big hole and researching what's going on down there. They found a lot of dangerous zed and critters, a fair amount of disease, and research seems to be pointing towards signs of a Corrupted Morgue!

Rocket Ball™ started the sporting season off with the biggest game yet, resulting in a 2-1 win for the Mother Cluckers over the Darwin 2.

The Flesh Works' criminal necrology operations were tracked down and finally destroyed, and the guy in charge seemed desperate to list names of his alleged accomplices before being killed.

While we are hard at work on July's event, please take some time to give us some feedback about June's Premiere event with the button below if you attended and haven't already.

As a reminder, we are looking for specific feedback as well. Please let us know your thoughts on removing our indoor masking policy, as well as how you feel about our September Premiere Event's plans for a Sunday before Labor Day. Do you want game as normal and leave on Sunday, game as normal and have an extra night for OOC socializing, or a 4 day game?

May 2026 Recap & June Premiere Event

Registration is Open for June’s Premiere Event!

What's been Happening at Steel Horse Crossing?

A member of the town council was kidnapped, but she came back (mostly) intact!

Local merchants, unions, and hunters are less-than-pleased with the government's ability to keep the peace.

An infection farming operation is on the run after being raided, but left behind some concerning clues.

The local chapter of Fallow Hope continues to grow its ranks.

The Littleton Family's new salvage yard is well protected by hired guards, but they are warning of a new gang to keep an eye out for.

Many events in the last year have caused strain to the Mortis, and there’s evidence of Grave Bloom and all sorts of nasty stuff going on down there.

While our team works on next month's premiere event, please take some time to give us some feedback about May with the button below if you attended and haven't already.
